Case study Pre-launch

A multi-vendor marketplace for independent phone & electronics sellers, with an AI recommendation assistant. Currently pre-launch.

The breakdown

Problem: Independent phone and electronics vendors across multiple cities had no shared marketplace — each was selling alone, with no unified place for buyers to compare and order.
Architecture decision: A Django backend acting as a multi-vendor aggregator: independent vendors onboard and manage their own listings through a dedicated provider dashboard, an admin dashboard controls the marketplace, and an AI assistant helps buyers find products across vendors.
The hard part: Designing the aggregator model so vendors keep control of their own inventory and listings while the buyer still sees one unified marketplace, and building the AI recommendation assistant on top of that.
Outcome: Pre-launch: the admin dashboard, provider dashboard, and web + mobile listing interfaces are built and working, with the AI assistant integrated. No live user numbers yet — it hasn't launched.
