Beauty Car App
A React Native car-services app with a Django backend, integrating four payment & loyalty gateways — Tabby, Al Rajhi Bank, urpay and STC Qitaf — into one checkout.
The breakdown
- Problem
- The app needed to let users pay with the financial and loyalty methods people in the target market actually use, not just one card processor.
- Architecture decision
- Own both sides — the React Native app and its Django backend — and integrate four separate payment/loyalty gateways (Tabby, Al Rajhi Bank, urpay, STC Qitaf) into one checkout flow rather than bolting them on individually.
- The hard part
- Each of the four gateways has its own auth flow, API shape and failure modes — reconciling all four into one reliable checkout path was the bulk of the work.
- Outcome
- Shipped a working app with all four payment and loyalty integrations live end-to-end.
