01 — About

I build the engine rooms of digital products — architecting backend platforms, secure APIs and real-time systems, then taking them cross-platform with React Native. Backend at the core, full-stack in reach — from fintech integrations to AI-assisted platforms.

01Backend DevelopmentServer-side logic, authentication and business rules, built with Django and Django REST Framework.
02API DesignClean, secure REST APIs with Django REST Framework — documented and dependable.
03Real-time SystemsWebSockets for live tracking, in-app chat and instant order dispatching.
04Mobile DevelopmentCross-platform apps built with React Native — from UI to API.
05Fintech IntegrationsSecure payment & loyalty gateways — Tabby, Al Rajhi Bank, STC Qitaf.
06Databases & SystemsRelational data modelling with PostgreSQL and MySQL, from schema design to query optimization.

Qareeb Super-App

A delivery & ride-hailing super-app — a real-time Django backend powering live tracking, in-app chat and instant dispatch across rider, client and provider apps.

  • Django
  • DRF
  • WebSockets
  • Bank of Khartoum
  • Multi-app
Problem
Sudan had no single platform connecting riders, clients and independent providers for on-demand delivery and rides — each side needed its own app, but all three had to see the same live state.
Architecture decision
One Django + DRF backend serving three separate apps (Client, Rider, Provider), with WebSockets carrying live location, chat and order-status events instead of polling, plus a direct Bank of Khartoum integration for in-app payment.
The hard part
Keeping ride/order state — location, status, chat — consistent in real time across three independently-built client apps talking to the same backend, without the WebSocket layer drifting out of sync under concurrent connections.
Outcome
A working three-app ecosystem — Client, Rider and Provider — with live tracking, in-app chat, dispatch and bank payment shipped end-to-end.

GeoSoft Platform

A secure, full-stack enterprise platform pairing a company portfolio with an interactive e-learning ecosystem and automated certificates.

  • Django
  • Role-based access
  • PDF automation
Problem
The client needed a public-facing company site and a full e-learning system in one place, with three kinds of users — students, instructors and managers — who each needed different access to the same courses.
Architecture decision
A single Django backend serving three role-based interfaces (student portal, instructor dashboard, manager dashboard), with manager-controlled access to streaming courses and automatic PDF certificate generation on completion — no real-time layer, since none of this needs it.
The hard part
Getting the role-based permissions right across three user types sharing one platform, and making certificate generation trigger reliably off course-completion state rather than a manual step.
Outcome
A live full-stack platform combining the company portfolio with a working e-learning system: student portal, instructor dashboard, manager dashboard and automated certificates.

Mobilat

Pre-launch

A multi-vendor marketplace for independent phone & electronics sellers, with an AI recommendation assistant. Currently pre-launch.

  • Django
  • Multi-vendor
  • AI assistant
Problem
Independent phone and electronics vendors across multiple cities had no shared marketplace — each was selling alone, with no unified place for buyers to compare and order.
Architecture decision
A Django backend acting as a multi-vendor aggregator: independent vendors onboard and manage their own listings through a dedicated provider dashboard, an admin dashboard controls the marketplace, and an AI assistant helps buyers find products across vendors.
The hard part
Designing the aggregator model so vendors keep control of their own inventory and listings while the buyer still sees one unified marketplace, and building the AI recommendation assistant on top of that.
Outcome
Pre-launch: the admin dashboard, provider dashboard, and web + mobile listing interfaces are built and working, with the AI assistant integrated. No live user numbers yet — it hasn't launched.

Beauty Car App

A React Native car-services app with a Django backend, integrating four payment & loyalty gateways — Tabby, Al Rajhi Bank, urpay and STC Qitaf — into one checkout.

  • React Native
  • Django
  • Tabby
  • Al Rajhi Bank
  • urpay
  • STC Qitaf
Problem
The app needed to let users pay with the financial and loyalty methods people in the target market actually use, not just one card processor.
Architecture decision
Own both sides — the React Native app and its Django backend — and integrate four separate payment/loyalty gateways (Tabby, Al Rajhi Bank, urpay, STC Qitaf) into one checkout flow rather than bolting them on individually.
The hard part
Each of the four gateways has its own auth flow, API shape and failure modes — reconciling all four into one reliable checkout path was the bulk of the work.
Outcome
Shipped a working app with all four payment and loyalty integrations live end-to-end.
